/ Batman: Batarang

Information

A short animation sequence based on the Batman universe.

The batarang design is an original take on the weapon, using past iterations throughout the Batman history as reference.

All modeling and 3D was produced in Cinema 4D.

The final frames were rendered using Octane, which were then imported into After Effects.  Since Octane was used for much of the colour grading and post work, only a minimal amount was added in After Effects.  This consisted of adding a vignette, a lens flare, some dust particles, and finally a little motion blur.
